What does my Franchise Fee cover?
You will have the legal rights to use the registered trademark, recipes, and systems provided to conduct and operate a Blue Chip Gourmet franchise in your area.
What is the Royalty Fee?
Six percent. This is to be paid weekly.
Is there a national marketing fee?
Yes, there is a 2% fee based on your store revenues that will be collected by Blue Chip Gourmet, Inc. One and half-percent will be managed by an approved area director to enhance the brand in your market area. If there is no area director, it will be managed by Blue Chip Gourmet, Inc. and you for local marketing. The other half-percent will be used by Blue Chip Gourmet, Inc. to continue to develop on-going marketing initiatives to enhance the brand nationally.
Is financing available?
Yes, we can provide contact information of experienced and trusted third party financial sources who can offer flexible programs to fit your needs. The ultimate decisions on financial programs, however, will be between you and the financial source. Generally speaking, one needs: $75,000 liquid, a net worth of $400,000, credit score of 650 to be considered by third party financing entities.
Do I need experience?
No, while experienced people are always welcome, prior experience is not necessary. Our exclusive training program is designed to prepare you for all aspects of managing and operating your business.
What sort of training is provided by Blue Chip Gourmet, Inc.?
You will be required to attend a training course at the Loveland, Ohio, base of Blue Chip Gourmet, Inc. for a few days to get indoctrinated under the Blue Chip Gourmet systems. You will then spend two weeks either at the corporate store in Loveland or at an approved area director’s store in your area to complete your initial training for store operations.
Is there a mandatory equipment start-up requirement?
Yes, our initial equipment package is $85,000 which includes everything you need to operate your business.
How much does it cost to open a Blue Chip Gourmet?
Typically, our new Franchisees come in with $80,000 liquid. The equipment package is $85,000. The build out of the store can range from $125,000- $250,000 depending on the size and scope of the location you choose.
How long does it take to get open a store?
Once a lease is executed, it will take 3 to 6 months, depending the starting condition of your store location and the lease agreement. Delays can happen due to developer schedule. The Equipment Package and the Design Package can be executed in less than 45 days. We have now 2 contracting companies that understand our business and will deliver excellent service.
How much money will I make?
